Following a cradle-to-cradle design principle, Shaw Contract’s EcoWorx carpet tile is the first PVC-free modular carpet in the industry. At the end of the service life of carpets, it can be gathered and recycled at a Shaw recycling facility, where the used carpets are separated, disassembled, shredded, and eventually transformed into raw materials for the next EcoWorx carpet of the same quality. It achieves a closed-loop value chain for a truly circular product, reducing the demand for new raw materials and eliminating waste. Among materials of its class, EcoWorx stands as the only flooring material that has achieved Cradle to Cradle v4.0 certification, embodying a commitment to the well-being of both people and the planet.
