Cross-Border Performances at The Red House

Sustainability doesn’t have to be conventional.

Throughout the exhibition, artists and performers from Taiwan, Japan, and Thailand transform discarded materials into sound, color, movement, and cultural expression—turning the circular economy into an immersive sensory experience.

WAXA｜Opening Day Performance

On August 13, Taiwanese electronic music artist WAXA sets the tone for the opening day with sleek Minimal Techno rhythms and deep, atmospheric sounds inspired by a distinctive Luxury Noir aesthetic.

Akinori Oishi｜Japan

Known for his signature smile characters and healing visual style, Japanese artist Akinori Oishi transforms climate and carbon data into playful AI Climate Receipts, while presenting his latest circular picture book during the exhibition.

Wishulada｜Thailand

Thai environmental artist Wishulada collaborates across borders to transform used Taiwanese event banners and surplus fabrics into unique woven art bags, preserving traces of local stories and cultural memory.

Water Pipe Amin × Sun Son Theatre｜Taiwan

Everyday water pipes and discarded containers become instruments in an energetic performance combining percussion, movement, and audience interaction—giving waste a new rhythm and a new life.
