TAIWAN DYE 是來自屏東的天然染色品牌，團隊以在地檳榔子為天然染材，經過收集、乾燥、取籽、萃色、煮染與晾曬等工序，研發出粉藕、奶茶、赭紅及大地褐色等，並應用於服飾、布包、生活用品及染色體驗。
品牌也與在地高齡農民合作收購果實，重新連結農村產業、地方記憶與設計創新，讓逐漸式微的檳榔產業發展出不同於食用的新價值。TAIWAN DYE 希望以「Taiwan Brown」建立具有臺灣土地特色的代表性色彩，讓天然染不只是工藝，也成為地方創生、文化傳承與永續生活的實踐。
TAIWAN DYE is a natural-dyeing brand based in Pingtung, Taiwan. The team uses locally sourced areca nuts as a natural dye material, transforming them through a series of processes—including collection, drying, seed extraction, colour extraction, boiling, dyeing, and air-drying—into shades such as dusty pink, milk-tea beige, reddish ochre, and earthy brown. These colours are applied to clothing, fabric bags, lifestyle products, and hands-on natural-dyeing experiences.
The brand also purchases fruit from elderly local farmers, reconnecting rural livelihoods and local memories with contemporary design. This approach creates new value for Taiwan’s declining areca industry beyond its traditional use as a consumable crop. Through the concept of “Taiwan Brown,” TAIWAN DYE seeks to establish a signature colour rooted in the Taiwanese landscape, turning natural dyeing into a practice of rural regeneration, cultural continuity, and sustainable living.

檳榔子染材料包 Areca Nut Natural Dye Kit 結合在地農業副產物與環境教育，將撿拾的檳榔落果轉化為天然染料。材料包內含預處理的檳榔子染材、布料或紙材、橡皮筋、繩材、簡易操作工具、安全說明卡、教師教案摘要及延伸學習問題。整套設計以「一包完成一堂植物染課」為概念，讓學校、社區與一般教學場域即使無法走進檳榔園，也能在室內體驗天然染色。 he Areca Nut Natural Dye Kit transforms locally collected fallen areca nuts—an agricultural by-product—into a hands-on tool for environmental education.
