緣起 Origin
尼泊爾擁有深厚的手作文化、社群互助精神與與自然共生的生活智慧。然而,在城市快速發展與資源有限的情況下,廢棄物管理、青年就業、女性經濟自主與環境教育,成為當地迫切需要面對的課題。
Nepal holds strong traditions of craftsmanship, community cooperation, and nature-based wisdom. However, with rapid urbanization and limited infrastructure, challenges such as waste management, youth employment, women’s economic empowerment, and environmental education have become increasingly urgent.
本計畫並非以「援助」為出發點,而是看見尼泊爾已存在的行動能量,嘗試透過循環經濟的方法,協助整合在地資源、建立可長期運作的平台。
This project does not begin from an aid-based perspective. Instead, it builds upon existing local initiatives and seeks to connect them through circular economy approaches, forming a platform that can operate sustainably over time.

本計畫的核心在於建立一個可持續的合作架構,串聯在地組織、學校、社群與小型生產者,並逐步形成「資源再利用 × 教育 × 就業」的循環系統。
The core of this initiative is to establish a sustainable collaboration framework that connects local organizations, schools, communities, and small producers. Through this platform, resource reuse, education, and livelihood development can form an integrated circular system.
我們重視的不只是成果,而是清楚的流程、合理的角色分工,以及可被複製的合作模式。
Rather than focusing solely on outcomes, the project emphasizes clear processes, appropriate role allocation, and models that can be replicated and adapted.

Eco Sathi Nepal
Eco Sathi Nepal 是一個位於尼泊爾加德滿都的在地循環經濟實踐組織,致力於透過廢棄物管理、環境教育與社區賦權,推動永續生活方式的轉變。
Eco Sathi Nepal is a local circular economy organization based in Kathmandu, dedicated to promoting sustainable lifestyle transitions through waste management, environmental education, and community empowerment.
組織以「Eco Sathi」(環保夥伴)為名,深信改變來自於每個人的參與。他們與當地學校、社區、女性團體合作,將回收材料轉化為手工製品,同時提供技能培訓與就業機會,特別關注弱勢族群的經濟自主。
Named “Eco Sathi” (Eco Friend), the organization believes change comes from everyone’s participation. They work with local schools, communities, and women’s groups to transform recycled materials into handcrafted products while providing skills training and employment opportunities, with special focus on economic empowerment for marginalized groups.
目前 Eco Sathi Nepal 的核心項目包括:回收鉛筆製作工坊、校園環境教育計畫、社區零廢棄推廣,以及女性手工藝者培力計畫。他們不僅解決環境問題,更創造在地的社會與經濟價值。
Current core projects of Eco Sathi Nepal include: recycled pencil-making workshops, school environmental education programs, community zero-waste initiatives, and women artisans empowerment programs. They not only address environmental challenges but also create local social and economic value.

Circular Economy & Cultural Learning Visits
此參訪行程適合學校、國際志工團體及教育機構,透過實地走訪尼泊爾在地的循環案例、手作工坊與社群行動,深入理解當地的生活脈絡與環境現況。
These learning visits are designed for schools, international volunteer groups, and educational institutions. Participants will engage with local circular economy practices, craft initiatives, and community-based actions, gaining first-hand understanding of Nepal’s social and environmental context.
重點不在於走訪多少景點,而是理解一個地方如何以有限資源運作其生活系統。
The focus is not on the number of sites visited, but on understanding how a system functions within real-world constraints.
採購當地產品 Purchase Local Products
支持在地手作產品（如回收鉛筆、手工藝品等），讓產品被實際使用，成為可持續的經濟循環。
Support local handmade products (such as recycled pencils, handicrafts, etc.), integrating them into real markets and daily use to create sustainable economic cycles.
參與合作 Engage in Collaboration
提供專業能力、資源或網絡，回應當地實際需求。歡迎設計、環境、教育與溝通等領域的專業夥伴長期交流合作。
Contribute professional skills, resources, or networks based on real local needs. We welcome long-term collaboration from professionals in design, environmental practices, education and communication.
