Trash is Nice is a recycling center in Treellion Park, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and part of the Precious Plastic community. By using different tools, machines and techniques, we create useful and one of a kind objects, ranging from glass coasters to furniture and trophies. This way, we prevent pollution by locally collecting plastic and giving it a long lasting second life.
Our workshops for schools and community groups teach about the plastic lifecycle and our recycling process, allowing participants to create items from waste. By involving schools and groups, we inspire environmentally conscious actions, promoting the view of plastic as a valuable resource. Together, we aim for a greener, sustainable future.
